Salvation

We Believe that:

A. Jesus was conceived, born, lived, suffered, died and rose again from the dead for the forgiveness of all sins for all people.

â–ºJohn 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (NIV)

â–º Colossians 2:13-14 “When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,  14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.” (NIV)

B. Those who faith in Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, physically risen from the dead have God’s gift of forgiveness and eternal life.

â–ºRomans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

â–º Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

â–º2 Timothy 2:9 “who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.”

Our Good works in no way earns us salvation. Salvation is a complete gift of God.

C. Those who really believe that God has saved them from all their sins will strive to live a life of repentance and thanksgiving to God for His great gift of forgiveness.

â–º2 Corinthians 5:15 “And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”

â–ºRomans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship."
